Hi. My name is Tim Stowell, your host of this NYGenWeb site. I am reconstructing this site, again. Since Rootsweb / Ancestry took the Broome site down on 23 Dec 2017 and while it has been restored, faith in Rootsweb / Ancestry to protect the data has vanished. I've made the decision to continue move of the entire site here. As you may know the Broome site is massive so this will take some time to do. Hopefully I will start getting the main sections up and running soon and fill in the rest as time permits. I work full time so this is something I do in my off hours. I also host other New York sites and those too are being moved - among which are the neighbors of Broome - Chenango, Cortland, Madison counties to name some. Hopefully, you will be able to find the answers you are looking for on the site. Because of the workload involved in bringing resources to the site, I cannot do research for individuals. However, the individuals listed under Lookups (free) and Research Services (paid) might be able to help if you cannot find your answers here.
