Query = I am researching my Gee family and have found a John Gee who apparently rec'd a pension from the New York line beginning at age 77,on May 28, 1818. It also states he died February 28, 1823. I've traced back to my GGGGrandfather, John Gee, born in Ulster Co., NY on May 27, 1822. The family lived there until John Gee was 12, then moved to OH. I wonder if this "older" John could be a descendant? I'm in the process of trying to get information on my GGGGranfather's birth/parent's, etc.. I'm stuck at this point! We have several John's so far in this family...middle names would be helpful though. Can you help me? Or, guide me in the right direction?
