MANN/ACKLY --
My ancestors, James C MANN and Anna (Hannah) ACKLEY possibly were married in Broome County ca 1819. They were the parents of seven children, Augustus, Chester, Sarah, Laura Mae, Rebecca, Mary, and Theodore John, all born in or near the towns of Vestal or Union. James C. MANN is listed in the 1820, 1830 and 1840 Broome County Federal Census. The 1820 Federal Census records that James C. MANN was engaged in agriculture. Anna MANN died sometime after June 1842 and before 1849. By 1850 James C. MANN and his children had migrated to IA and he was a widower. Would like direction in finding civil or church records concerning this family. Would also like someone who has cemetery records to find the place of burial for my ancestor, Anna MANN. She was born ca 1800 near Long Island, NY. They were protestant, if that will help. Thank you, in advance.

MARSHALL
--
I am looking for any information on the parents of Harvey George Marshall, and on Harvey George Marshall himself. He was born Abt 1801 in New York,(do not know the area)(two other accounts say born maybe in Virginia or Penn, but the 1860 census of Ripley Co. Ind. says New York) and died 12 July 1866 in Flat Rock, Ripley Co., Indiana. He is buried in the Flat Rock cemetery. The best census report says he was born in New York. Parents are not known as yet. About 1820 he married Eunice Hull, (parents George Hull and Jemima Wellman) probably in Broome County, New York. She was born 1799 in Connecticut. In about 1829 they moved to Pennsylvania to Bradford Co. which is next to Broome County, New York. They had seven children. If you can give me any help on who the names of Harvey George Marshall's decendants, ancesters or siblings are, or where they come from, I would be most grateful. Thank you.

--
I have run into a dead-end trying to research my grandmother's parents. My grandmother Mary J. Martin of 86 Murray Street died in Binghamton on December 1, 1953. Her husband who survived her was Frank J. Martin. My grandmother was the daughter of Daniel Hurley and Josephine Fernan. She was born May 22, 1883 in Nicholson PA. Her first husband was James J Donohue (1881-1918). She had 6 children with James Donohue including my mother (Rita Jane Donohue McDermott). They lived in Hallstead PA in the early 1900's. My mother was born in Hallstead in 1918.
I also have information listing her parents as John Hurley and Mary Kenny Hurley. This might suggest that she was adopted? My grandmother had 1 sister. Mrs. James Shafer of Stroudsburg PA.

MOONEY --
My maternal grandmother, Helen Hawley Mooney was born in 1887 in Binghamton NY. Her parents were Mary E.Austin, b. 1861 and Alexander Mooney, b. 1826. I found them in the 1880 census living at 77 Chenago Street. I was not able to find them in later census information at the National Archives in Massachusetts. I do not know the birth date of my grandmother, or her parents or the date of their marriage. My mother is also deceased. She left me photos and notes but unfortunately no dates. My maternal grandmother was one of 4 sisters. According to my mother's notes, her mother, sisters, parents were all born in Binghamton. My mother's notes also indicate that the Mooney family was in the area from the 1700's. The only other fact I know is that my grandmother, Helen Hawley Mooney was living with her family in a place called Port Dickinson NY in 1891.
The other children of Alexander Mooney and Mary E. Austin were as
follows: Charlotte Mooney Prentice (William Prentice-husband)went to Ohio
Susan Mooney Livingston, b. 1878 (Bernard Livingston-husband)remained
in Binghamton. Cora Mooney Greene (don't know husband's name)-lived Binghamton but also lived with Charlotte in Ohio at one time.
