Query Text: I am searching for my grandmother's family. her name was Mary Belle Minturn b. 1884 d. 15 Apr 1956, died in Cayuga NY, buried in Elmira NY with her husband Ferris Emmett Clark b. 1886 d. 2 Oct 1966. Mary Belle Minturn was the daughter of John H. Minturn b. 1851 d. 1923 and his wife Martha A. (Minturn) b. 1855 d. 1929. both are buried in Horseheads, NY. Ferris Emmett Clark was the son of Emmet D. Clark b. 1858 d. 6 May 1934 and wife Ida M.(Nettie) Tuttle b. 17 Dec 1866 d. 5 Feb 1916. both are buried at Hillside Cemetery, Dundee NY. I have info that Emmet D. and Ida M.(Nettie) Tuttle Clark lived in Binghampton NY when they had their three children, Ferris Emmett, Philo H., and Claude James Clark. while living there, Ferris Emmett met and married Mary Belle Minturn. they moved to Cayuga NY to a farm where they had their children, and lived until Mary Belle's death in 1956. any information on this Minturn family will greatly be appreciated, as "I have hit a brick wall" with this family. thanks, Bev.

I've been told that Eliza Gates is a direct decendant of General Gates (I have not found a connection yet). Eliza and Nelson had 8 children; Florence,Eliza?,lillis,Betsey, Hulda,Lydia, Edward and Benjamin. I am in Edwards line. I have that he was born in Nanticoke N.Y.?(b.3-31-1862)and died in Whitney Point, New York (d.5-2-1931).My Grandmother's family is from Whitney point (Hutchinson). if anyone has information about Nelson and Eliza Gates, their children,or the Hutchinsons and would like to share please contact me.
