NY on Dec. 22, l941, nearly 60 years ago. I cannot seem to locate who his parents were or any of his siblings. He was born on Nov.16, 1861 in Eminence, N.Y. He was married twice- Martha Dopp and then Ada Ogden My grandmother Jessie Inman Medlar was a daughter by the first marriage. I will appreciate any help that you can give me on this. The child's name was Eugene French Johnson (1839-1919)who lived in Bershire, Tioga County, New York. Lucy Johnson lived and Broome County and was born in Lisle, NY. If anyone has any info on Lucy, Eugene or possibly Alanzo Hogaboom, i would greatly appreciate it. Alanzo is also known as Elam Hogaboom, E.A. Hogaboom, Eli Hogaboom. My great grandmother was from Lithuania and came to the USA in the early 1900s and lived in Binghamton NY before moving to Chicago. I have her birth certifcate but don't have her maiden name (everything is in Russian letters). But family lore has it that she was a cousin of Sharkey's. Her 2 sisters (one's married name was T. Obremski) but our family was not close to theirs as my great grandmother died when she was 31. Please let me know if you have any info. thanks |
