A Biography of Tina Evelyn Wheet, my grandmother.

Tina was born March 11, 1889 in Deposit, Delaware County, New York and died October 18, 1918 from complication of the 1918 flu epidemic. Her parents were Luther G. Wheat (Wheet) and Alice Mary Holbert. Their children were: George Holbert, Naomi Aletha, Kenneth Malcolm, Leslie E. and Tina Evelyn. In 1905, at the age of 16, she kept a year long diary. Their residence at that time was McClure, New York. Luther, Alice and all the children, except Kenneth are buried at Laurel Bank, Deposit, New York.

I copied from Tina’s diary verbatim and put question marks where I could not decipher.
I am Tina’s granddaughter, Joan (Wheet) Field, Marcellus, New York 13108
