Benjamin Bird ** 6/5/1825-1913

Benjamin Bird was born on June 5, 1825, died 1913. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Windsor, NY. He was a Civil War Veteran and joined the 89th NYS Volunteer Regiment on November 7, 1861 at the age of 36. He served as a Private in Co. G from 11/22/1861 to 11/4/1864. He was discharged at Chaffins Farm, VA.   

His father, Warren E. Bird (@1794) married Hannah Hillborn* (b. 1/29/1798) on 11/2/1820 (my GGGG Grandfather).

*** Warren Ezenas Bird - born 3/19/1830 enlisted in the Civil War on the same day as his brother, Benjamin, on 11/7/1861 at the age of 31. He enlisted for 3 years in the 89th NYS Volunteers with Company G on 11/22/1861. He died on 8/9/1863 at Portsmouth, VA from "congestive fever".
